Crafted by hand, our detox face mask is beneficial for fighting acne and clearing the skin of impurities. Green Desert Calcium Bentonite/Montmorillonite Clay is a therapeutic-grade, magnesium rich, alkaline clay from the Mojave Desert in California. It shares the qualities of both sodium bentonite and calcium montmorillonite, giving it excellent oil absorption properties and is believed to draw out acne-causing toxins from the skin. The addition of activated charcoal help with removing impurities from the skin and together these ingredients create a powerful skin detox for your face. Colloidal oatmeal is added to this mask to aid in soothing and calming the skin, and reducing inflammation. Use every 1 - 2 weeks for maximum effectiveness.

How To Use:

Using a wooden or plastic (non-metal) spoon, combine equal parts dry clay mask and purified/distilled water*, about 1 - 2 tsp, in a glass or plastic (non-metal) bowl, until desired consistency is reached. (*may substitute a small amount of apple cider vinegar for water) Wash your face thoroughly with Olivespa Cleansing Face Wash and pat dry with a towel. Using clean fingertips, scoop up the mixture and apply to your face and neck being careful to avoid eye area. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes or until it dries completely. Rinse off thoroughly with warm water and face cloth (use an old one since the charcoal may stain) until the mask is completely off. Splash your face with cold water to tighten the pores. Pat dry with a towel and mist face with olivespa Hydrating Face Toner. Then finish with a drop of olivespa Nourishing Face Oil to moisturize.
