ALL NATURAL FACE MASK

ALL NATURAL FACE MASK

What better way to treat yourself than with an all natural face mask? How about a high antioxidant all natural face mask!? We blended up our favorite ingredients to create a face mask that enhances cell regeneration and speeds the healing of tissue (aka the skin). This simple DIY is your next excuse to stay in on a Friday night.

ALL NATURAL FACE MASK

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

1 tsp Bentonite Clay (commonly found at health food stores)
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Matcha Green Tea Powder
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Raw, Local Honey
1-2 tsp Warm Water

THE METHOD

1. In a non-metal bowl, mix all ingredients with a non-metal spoon or fork. I prefer the mask a bit thicker so I only use 1 tsp of warm water, but if you prefer yours a bit thinner, go ahead and add the second teaspoon.

2. Once mixture is well blended, set aside. Fill a stainless steel bowl with steaming hot water, take a towel and drape it over your head as you bring your head just over the bowl, face facing the water in order to steam the facial skin, opening pores and preparing it for the mask. It is best to do this with a freshly washed face and no makeup on. Steam face for anywhere from 1-10 minutes, keeping an appropriate distance from the bowl as to not burn the face.

3. Pat the face dry then evenly apply the face mask over the face. Avoid eyes, eyebrows, just under the eyes, and lips. Leave mask on face for 15 minutes.

4. After the 15 minutes, gently wipe face mask off with a warm cloth. Once mask is completely removed from skin, spray skin with a toner and then massage a moisturizer into the skin, we recommend Olivespa's Hydrating Face Toner and Nourishing Face Oil.

I recommend doing this mask in the evening, as it may leave a golden green hue on the skin - it should be gone by the time you wash your face in the morning.

Glow forth and give this face mask a try, and trust me, you'll be hooked after the first time.
