Bakuchi oil is oil that is extracted from the Babchi plant. Babchi is an Ayurvedic plant that has been used in India for centuries. The reason you should care about bakuchi oil however (other than it’s many ayurvedic uses) is because of it’s bakuchiol content. Bakuchi oil has a bakuchiol content of about 9-10%.

A 2019 study found no difference between bakuchiol and prescription grade retinol in the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles.
